About Acton
With more than 300 campuses worldwide, Acton Academy offers a community of like-minded families doing education differently for their children. Acton emphasizes self-direction and governance, encourages persistent curiosity, and enables learners to meet the challenges of an ever-evolving world. We combine hands-on learning and exploration with proven educational technology to create a self-paced learning environment designed to foster personal responsibility, cooperation, communication, and mastery.
But self-paced doesn't mean alone. Acton learners build community, work in partnership, and practice addressing disagreements directly and respectfully through daily Socratic discussions and a clear, self-directed process for resolving conflict.
